MD Laws
Does anyone know where I can find the complete Maryland Crimes Code? I am also wondering about self defense as a legal defense/justification in Maryland. If anyone has any info on that as well it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Here is MD's laws.

Good luck finding anything. Their firearms laws span a few titles and chapters. I did a quick scan and didn't pinpoint to justifications for use of force anywhere.
If you are trying to plead a "need" for a MD carry permit, self-defense will not work.RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: MD Laws
The only related defenses I could find is this:
§ 3-209. Defenses.
A person charged with a crime under § 3-202, § 3-203, § 3-204, or § 3-205 of this subtitle may assert any judicially recognized defense.
202 = assault in the 1st
203 = assault in the 2nd
204 = reckless endangerment
205 = prison employee (bodily fluid)RIP: SFN, 1861, twoeggsup, Lambo, jamesjo, JayBell, 32 Magnum, Pro2A, mrwildroot, dregan, Frenchy, Fragger, ungawa, Mtn Jack, Grapeshot, R.W.J., PennsyPlinker, Statkowski, Deanimator, roland, aubie515

Re: MD Laws
Thanks for the help. I read what everyone has said on here about the great state of Maryland's handgun laws, I just wanted to read it for myself. I did find that you can use deadly force in self defense in Maryland if you cannot retreat, use no more force than necessary, and are in immanent danger of death or serious bodily injury. Does that mean that if you used a handgun in self defense in Maryland and the judge ruled that it was in self defense the only thing you could be convicted of is violating their weapons laws (up to 3 years in prison or a $1,000 fine)? Thanks again for the help.
