its not broken and the rust isn't exactly heavy moisture rust its more like the finish is gone and it isn't to pretty, I'm not worried about keeping it authentic I want to make it look new

hightech handguns on rt.19 just passed CCAC does a great job with duracoat, i've had work done by them. go in on a saturday and talk directly to walt as you want to avoid the owner and Walt is the one doing the duracoating anyhow.

Theres also a place in ambridge who does duracoating, I think its called United Arms Service, but I can't speak for their work(although a monkey can do duracoating)

Check your yellow pages for a place that does black oxide coatings.
Call them and see if they do guns for people.
Black oxide is what Ruger uses now. It's basically the same as bluing, except ,,,,, well,,, black.
I knew of a place in Dayton, Ohio that did rifles for $20 a pop, I had an FAL done in black oxide, and it wound up beautiful.
All I did was scrub the rifle with muratic acid to get all the old bluing off. (make sure you plug the barrel with dowels, and do it outside with a garden hose close to rinse right away)
Coat the parts with a good oil right away to keep the parts from rusting (Regular crankcase oil is ok, I'm a Castrol guy myself)
The Oxide place dips the parts to clean all the oil before they dip it in the oxide stuff, but the dip will not remove the old bluing.
    Remove all springs, etc.
Also, if you polish everything really, really well, the parts look almost a deep, dark blue, but, for an old #4 I just want to make look good and be seviceable another hundred years, just do the acid, and oxide.
Good luck. I hope this helps
    God bless
