Default PT 22 Taurus; who's the expert?

Need help! Know very little about this pistol. Trigger jammed in the fired position. Where to start?

I would search the Taurus forums they should have a section dedicated to this model along with trouble shooting guides. Unfortunately I'm not familiar with tilting barred firearms.

Go join taurusarmed.net and post the question on the taurus pistol forum. It's a good group.

If your pistol has the lock that might be the cause. If not then it might be the trigger draw bar or spring for same.

If it has a key and you can't find yours, try using a small hex tip.
    gotta love her ;)

Nope, not a flame, just trying to help the son-in-law out with his booboo pistol. I haven't done much with Taurus firearms, tilt barrel or otherwise.

Yeah, someone else had mentioned that forum but I figured I'd start here where I've been a member.

No lock but I believe the trigger transfer bar is inoperable. Plus the SIL has done something with the trigger...it's just plain "dead". Since I'm not really familiar with this firearm I'm trying to dig up some info to determine a starting point. But...as I said...the bar is inoperable and it mayo be that the sil has broken a pin of spring.
