    Default Renewal for C+R

My first renewal is due to my C+R FFL and am on the fence as should I renew, I did not add any pieces to my collection that I used on my C+R and really not sure why to renew.

You get some discounts at retailers like Brownells and other places. Plus if there is an off chance you do run across something you like you can pick it up.

I used mine a lot the 1st year and a half I had it but then it faded out as my priorities changed. I ended up renewing it this past summer for the exact reason I stated above and ended up saving a couple transfer fees off C&R pistols that I happened to stumble across. It's worth it just to have in my opinion,

yeah, it gets a lot of use during that first year. after that, not as much but i like to have it 'just in case.' if it saves one ffl transfer fee, it's paid for itself. i just like having it ... plus if i bump into something that looks like a nice addition, it's added incentive to buy because it would be good to exercise the c&r that's already paid for.

I just renewed mine, haven't used it in a long time. I figure for $30. I'll keep it for one of those just in case moments!

Just renewed mine back in October after using it mostly for the Brownell's discount and not so much for buying C&R. Totally worth keeping it for the fee.

I had no idea about the Brownell's discount, I am going to have to get on top of that soon.

You don't renew, you let it expire and reapply. If you renew you can't destroy the old bound book.

Playing games or giving advise on how to play games with the ATF an agency known for it's gross over reach is probably a very bad idea.

Sharing your uneducated opinion on a pretty clear-cut matter is in fact a horrible idea.
