What caliber and are you looking for reloading information or factory ammo?

Re: Uberti firearms
Hold up, cowboy! I'm not sure I'd recommend firing hunting loads through the '73. The toggle-link action, although smooth and fast, is not particularly strong as compared to say a '92 or similar design with the locking mortises. You can research that, you'll find lots of supporting information. I'd be wary shooting powerful hunting loads through your '73. In fact, I myself have a '73 and even though it says .357 magnum on the barrel, I'll only shoot mild .357 or .38 cowboy loads through it. If you're set on a lever gun for hunting, consider something with a stronger action that can handle the hotter loads.

Re: Uberti firearms
Thanks for advice. I watched a video and found a jacketed soft by federal that isn't supped up but looks to have the necessary power to take deer and hogs
