CZ P10-C worth the hype?

Everyone is keyed up on this CZ P10-C. Has anybody handled one yet? I don't get what all the hype is about, seems like just another glock copy. Same grip texture, same take down, it fits in the same holster for crying out loud! For $499 I bet it will be worth the money but some people I know are swearing up and down it will be better than a glock "in every way shape and form" and they haven't even held the gun yet... I just can't under stand the hype for a product very very few people have handled

this is a very drastic departure from anything cz has really done. I will hold my opinion until some real world types have hands on an it

There are a lot of CZ fans out there. That and the trigger is supposed to rival the PPQ and VP9. Factor in that there isnt a whole lot of new stuff this year, it's a pretty fascinating option. Go read the Guns and Ammo write up. That's where all of the hype started. I am looking forward to fondling one.

I have one ordered from CZ's mil/le department in FDE with night sights. I can't wait to get it and try it out. I was told they won't be shipping until late February/early March. I'll post pics and a review as well as comparison to my G19 with GlockKraft trigger and RMR as soon as I get my hands on it and get it to the range.

If I didn't already have so much custom work put into my glock 19 I'd be really interested in the cz. the cz low bore axis and grip angle is what really attracts people to them but they do have their downsides. For custom parts you're usually limited to cz custom or their own website, $50 magazines is a huge turn off since glock mags are going for as little as $10 for range mags and from the pics I've seen the trigger is serated which I can't stand so I was able to install a nice flat faced shoe in my glock for $50.

Pretty interesting that it will fit in holsters made for G19.
That's a pretty nice thing.

Good looking too. Better than their other plastic ugly guns.
I love the CZ 75, but the polymer offerings until now looked like half hearted attempts at making a heavy gun light.
