Two law makers in NYC (of course) want to put a 90 day wait period for purchasing ammunition greater than twice the capacity of your firearm. Once again using a tragedy that occurred in another state as an excuse to further infringe upon the rights of gun owners in NY.

They already closed that loophole when they made it illegal to own a detachable magazine with greater than a 10 round capacity, so the most ammo you can [legally] buy for a gun per year would be 80 rounds, or in PA terms, about 10 minutes at the range.

That restriction works out to 8x capacity per YEAR. I shoot 10-20 times my firearm's capacity EVERY WEEK.
