These two moonbats introduced this legislation during the last session as well, and it didn't go anywhere. It never will. If it did, I'd just drive over the border and give more of my tax dollars to the good people of Pennsylvania.

As a former New Yorker & more importantly, I lived in the city, I can attest to the fact that these *********s will keep on electing liberal a $$holes into office because they're dumb enough to believe that criminals obey the law. Last time I checked, breaking the law is what makes a criminal a criminal. Even if they ban guns & knives all together the crime rate won't drop until every criminal is dropped. Half my family members are liberal & they whole heartedly think gun control works, it really is a disease

They want to harbor terrorists, but ban AMERICANS from buying something that equates to our constitution.

You understand perfectly. We all know terrorists will not abide by the law. So what is this about? It is about making it impossible for law abiding citizens to protect themselves and be proficient with their firearms. In short, the NY State Legislature does not want its citizens to practice. These laws are targeted at what Democrats like to call the "Gun Culture". They are trying to make impossible to exercise Second Amendment rights in any meaningful way. BTW, forget about shooting trap or skeet. Gone, simply gone. Forget about competitive shooting of any kind. This is exactly what they want to do.

When the next terrorist attack hits and they don't voluntarily limit their NY ammo purchases to two times the capacity of their most likely illegal firearm, NY will demand national laws so that no one anywhere can buy ammo and then bring it into their precious little State.

Spend a few minutes looking at what they are doing in NJ. They are going after gun ranges, larding them up with so many restrictions that it would be impossible to operate one. No ranges, no practice, no teaching others, no families bring up children to understand and respect firearms. A few years ago they proposed a bill that would have made it illegal to allow a youngster to handle a firearm. No hunting, no training, nothing could be done with a minor given the way that bill was drafted. It was done so for the express purpose of making certain that the next generation of youth would have no exposure to the gun culture. Democrats in our era are mind control fascists. It is not the Democrat Party of FDR, not even close.

With Andrew Cuomo and the Democrats running that State, this crap will pass. Trump's appointment(s) to the Supreme Court become more important with each passing day.

If somehow they get away with this it makes me wonder what a guy who goes deer hunting with a double barrel shotgun is going to do. If he spends a few rounds sighting in his shotgun at the beginning of the season, he'll only have 4 or 5 left for the rest of the season.

    Sadly, I agree with you.

There are three types: (1) Those who are dumb enough to believe that criminals obey the law. (2) Those that are smart enough to know that criminals do not obey the laws, but think that if the guns can be made to "go away" somehow, everyone will be safer. (3) Those that know that the real agenda is control of the population to force a socialist framework on America, because that is what they believe is best for everyone.

In the socialist states, those three segments combined outnumber the sane people.

It is about punishing the deplorables who voted for Trump. Nothing more, nothing less. The left hates conservatives, thats why we have christians baking gay wedding cakes, while importing terrorists.
Go sell crazy some where else, we're all stocked up here.

So how the hell is this supposed to work?

The magazine on my PF9 holds 7 rounds, my CZ P-07 holds 15. So am I allowed to buy 14 rounds or 30?

Not to mention that ammo neither comes in boxes of 14 or 30. Which would require shops to sell ammo as "loosies" just like Eric Gardner sold cigarettes.

Unless you can purchase a magazine with a max capacity of 10 rounds, your CZ P-07 would be banned in NY. But I was wondering something along the same lines. I have a Marlin 1894 in .44 mag with a 10 round magazine, and a S&W model 29 six shooter in the same caliber. Since a handgun must be registered and you have to pass a background check to buy ammo in NY, the dealer would know about my revolver, but not necessarily about the rifle. What chance would I stand of getting 32 rounds of .44 mag if I say I want 20 rounds for my rifle and another 12 for my revolver? I'm sure these libtards didn't even consider any of these type of scenarios before writing up a bill to "stop terrorists" by limiting the sale of ammunition.

    1) they're G damned morons, 2) guns keep the average joe safe from those that wish to do him harm & when someone is in trouble who do they call? The police & what do the police have? Guns, what do the people not have? Guns, common sense & training.

Their 1 & only plan is to disarm the nation so the sheeple can't fight back when shit gets real. Nevermind the wall, rebuild state militias & "convince" Mattis to clean out the REALdeplorables the only way he knows how.
