Philadelphia Zoo, searches or detectors?
Has anyone been to the zoo recently? If so do they do any searches or have metal detectors?
I haven't been there for quite a while. My youngest wants to go and I don't want to ruin her day by being turned away. Some people just plain suck.

I believe no wanding and searches. Their policy is no guns. That being said......

There won't be any illusion-of-security procedures like that. There havent been in the past and if they changed it probably would have been on the news.

Re: Philadelphia Zoo, searches or detectors?
I had a whole thing with the director of security there. If they catch you carrying, they will ask you to either leave or put it in the car. If you give them a hard time and are an asshole about it, they will call the cops to have you removed, and possibly charged with a DC. If you're cool about it, they would like to have you back in the future, just without your weapon.
