Rifle range close to Philly

Where does everyone shoot rifle in or around Northeast Philly? I know Holmesburg allows it, but I rather avoid having a membership for something I'm only gonna shoot a couple times a year.

Make some friends at a range and shoot with them...otherwise few ranges are willing to let you just run up and shoot without vetting you. This means joining up and paying $.

I've been wanting to try out Wican's Shooting Range (3179 MOZART ROAD, FURLONG, PENNSYLVANIA) to shoot a long gun I recently purchased. Its only about 35 minutes from where I live in NE Philly. I haven't been there yet so I can't comment on the facility. Fees are listed on their website http://wicenshootingrange.com/

Thanks, the prices aren't horrible.

I was just there Sunday. Been going for a few years now but the price has jumped from $15 a day about 5 years ago to $25 as soon as March. It's good in regards to not needing a membership and if you dont plan on shooting a lot. I recommend going to Langhorne Rod and Gun on a public event day. They do it once a month and it's usually $10, the range goes out to 200yds.
