Lcp2 or lcp custom??
Long story short.. started working as a plumber for a company and I asked the owner if I could carry a firearm and he said not on my side where a customer could see it but I could pocket carry... so which one would you purchase right now...

Re: Lcp2 or lcp custom??
This is one of those personal preference questions. If it were me I would be inclined to get the Custom because it is a proven gun, has more aftermarket, slightly better sights and is probably less expensive.
BTW, two thumbs up to your boss for letting you carry.
Always pocket carry in a holster.

Re: Lcp2 or lcp custom??
The original LCP is $209 at Tanners. In my opinion enough for a pocket gun. If you need to employ it further than breath smelling distance I don't think any of the LCPs would be enough.
They do have the 2's for I believe $275.Some people just plain suck.
If you're gonna be dumb ya gotta be tough.

Re: Lcp2 or lcp custom??
Just get a regular LCP.
They're cheap and proven.

Love my LCP2. The slide lock after last round sealed the deal for me. It also now has as many error free rounds and my LCP 1.
Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

Re: Lcp2 or lcp custom??
Ruger LCP 2 is superior in every way to the original. Better trigger for starters, nice functional sites that wont snag like the taller custom, grip is wider and fills your hand better without a wrap, and it has a slide lock back catch upon empty etc..., not the best range gun per-say, but it is capable and doesn't stink to shoot as an occasional target piece. It's one of the best deep concealment pieces you will find. It is reliable to boot, and if you add Lehigh Defense or Underwood ammo....your performance is better than many regular 9mm rounds. Just the facts, no opinions here. If you can hack it, just get a Glock 19 and appendix carry it. If you must go that small, carry the LCP 2 and a knife or two.
