The current Cabela's sale flyer has them advertised for $269.99 ($270 who do they think they are fooling) which is $30 off Ruger's MSRP of $299.99 ($300 who do they think they are fooling)

You guys are funny ! I guess I could have used my google-fu to see it a clip was available... And about the plumbers crack, I squeeze a NAA .22 between my cheeks (tucked into my thong) just in case things go south (lol) ;-)

I have the Custom and checked out the LCP2. For me, it was no contest that my Custom is better. The slightly different contour of the 2 turned it into a knuckle wrecker for my poor thumb. Not to mention the sample I looked at really didn't have a better trigger than my Custom.

Took my daughter to the range yesterday to try out her LCP for the 1st time. She ran 50 rounds of Remington UMC 95 grain ball through it as well as 6 rounds of Winchester PDX1 Defender. She had about 5 FTFs with the UMC. Is this normal break in behavior?

Failure to feed? I have no break in issues with mine. Every round fed fine. Try a clean and lube first then try different ball ammo if that doesn't do it. After that send it back.

I have not experienced any break-in period with mine.

I ran 50 rounds of Tula or some other steel crap out of mine when new without a problem.
    Never had one since either.

I'd do the clean and try again like suggested above.

Mine had some FTF with crappy $12 Perfecta ammo from Walmart but it feeds everything else fine. Prbably the ammo. Try a new brand and if it still jams, call Ruger.

Was the gun cleaned and lubed before first use? I always do mine before firing.
