Just got home. The other protesters didn't seem to really want much to do with our group, or the biker group that was there either. They seemed content to sit in the hallway and chant stuff. I loved when we walked through they screwed up their chant and had to stop and restart once. Fairly comical. The capitol PD seemed to have stuff under control and there was more police presence than usual from what I remember. I was really hoping to see them sick the dog they had on one of them, but it wasn't in the cards.

Streaker as usual your kids were great. As you said there, more people should bring them. It's a good learning experience and people there seem to respond to kids. The letter they were handing out seemed really well received as compared to adults handing literature to the reps staff.

Great seeing everyone and meeting some new to me faces.

    Your kids were great.

The other protesters while loud, were harmless. Interesting to see the two tactics.

We politely meet with and lobby our reps. They chant and obstruct. I wonder which is more effective?

Just caught the tail end of the rotunda event on PCN. I thought it was downright fantastic that Ms. Shaneen Allen was standing there right next to Rep. Metcalfe.

And the Indiana County Sheriff was there, too.

I talked to the my kids after we walked through the chanters. I asked them what happens at home when a kid throws a temper tantrum. They know that they get ignored when that happens. Same thing is of course going to happen here. They'll be ignored, their tantrum will serve no purpose.

    Smelly hippies.

One of them would have been basement material after a delousing and hose bath, though.

One of them started yelling from the balcony of the rotunda and then spit down on pro-2A people. Arrested. Cops were all over them. They know who the trouble makers are.

We were yelling at you when you were waiting to get on the elevator near the school kids. You wouldn't turn around.

I did see one of the hallway chanters being "escorted" out (in handcuffs) by a Capitol Policeman. From watching the chanters a bit, I believe it might have been their leader (this was after they arrested the guy in the balcony). The bikers were there to promote ABATE and also talk to their reps about MC laws in PA. I talked to a few when I was outside and they weren't interested in disrupting the 2A event, they were having their own. I talked to my representative and a few others (none from Phila.) about constitutional carry and all who I talked to were for it. I believe if Wolf vetos that, there are enough to override it (sure hope so).

When I checked my gun the cop wanted it in my holster. When I picked it up he told me to turn my holster side towards him and he put my gun into my holster. I was afraid of getting Glock leg. I have a feeling they got swept too many times and decided they weren't putting up with it anymore. They are good guys, though.

I thought they were very nice, we joked with them when we went back to pick ours up. The one guard at the X-ray machine was joking around with little girl.

Every time I ask them, "How much for an upgrade?" They probably hear it 50 times but it never gets old to me. Last time the cop responded, "I got dibs on the Kimbers."
