Re: 2017 2nd amendment rally?
Thank you to everyone who carried the torch this year. Again, work has been busy (we're in the finishing stages of a major software development project) and I could not afford to take the day off. It looks like the side shows were entertaining.

I don't remember the color. The one with the gazungas? Then, Yes. We ran into her a number of times. Not nearly enough times
I planned to get a kiss from the photographer this year. I've had a shine on her for a few years. But I was kinda weak and decided to forgo it. I didn't want to stumble up to her like an idiot. She put me in the paper once and made me spell "Air 15." She almost got the trunk treatment. So cute.

Re: 2017 2nd amendment rally?
Greetings,
Jeff, Blake and (sorry, forget) another fellow came up from MD to support our efforts. They've been at past rally's in H'burg as well and frequent our board here. They were kind enough to accompany me to my drop ins on both friendly and unfriendly Reps and helped to successfully locate the illusive and well hidden "528E" office of Rep Cruz. Thanks to them for making the trip and also to everyone else that came out. Props to the FOAC crew for the usual great job organizing everything.
Regards, Jim

While the breakfast and rally are great fun, I'm impressed with how everyone gets down to work. This is the important part, and you don't have to be there to help. At the state level, emails from constituents voicing you support or displeasure are important. Make your rep know your name, and make sure he sees your face and hears you when he appears at local events or holds a local meet'n greet. At the very least, send a short email composed by yourself when you feel inspired. Personally written emails do get attention.
Boy, I say boy, you're reaching the limits of my medication!

Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
