Re: 2nd amendment really?
Every year. Will tell the Puerto Rican to show up 1-1/2 hours late when we have already left
I think Ed Stepan might have had something to do with it and he said he was giving up on us a couple years ago because he was pissed about lack of participation, but I don't want to put words into his mouth. I think in 2013 we had 25 buses.
If you haven't been there before, you should probably go with a FOAC team leader. It is an important learning experience. But, be warned, they stopped assigning people by district years ago. He will not be taking you to see your rep. I hate to think I might interfere with their agenda, but that's why we form our own group. We go see everybody's legislators, then we look for an FOAC group that looks like they are a little thin and join up with them to help them finish. It takes a long time. Most offices the legislators are not there and we leave notes for them and talk to the staffers. It might not hurt to write a several boilerplate letters with your name, address, and phone number and bring them along. There is no reason to make them excessively long. Check with FOAC on their legislative agenda since they have their finger on the pulse of the legislature. We have to work together on the same issues to get anything done at all, especially with Wolf. If you don't have the time, just show up and they will tell you what to do. Warm bodies are the important part.Last edited by ungawa; May 5th, 2017 at 10:24 PM.

Re: 2nd amendment really?
I'll be heading up, if there's someone from the Lancaster area that wants a ride, I have room.
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.
