New Hodgdon Powder for 300 BLK
Came across this youtube today.
Looks like the Hodgdon BLK stuff is basically a clone of A1680.

I guess I will probably try it. I load supersonic stuff so not sure how well this will really work out in the end for me.

Re: New Hodgdon Powder for 300 BLK
The Hodgdon Annual has articles and other info on it. From the way it sounds it is nothing special, a round like the blk really isn't going to copper a barrel too bad anyway. At least one guy testing it said there is a pressure spike prior to reaching the max and most accurate load in the .300blk.(which Hodgdon denies) Its also said to be very dirty. We will see I guess. There are so many powders out there now from many different manufacturers that there really is not too much new under the sun.
This is where it falls on the burn rate chart.(fastest to slowest)

I just hope it's easier to find. I'm pretty stocked up right now on 1680, but it wasn't easy finding it.
