S&W 39-2 / 52

Anyone know if the frame stud is the same on the 39 models and 52 models ? ( the piece the grip screw actually screws into ) . I need one for my 39-2 but can only find one for a 52. I have read they might be the same ?

Numrich shows 2 different part numbers but I don't know if that means anything. Brownells doesn't show the 52 or the 39 in their schematics so that doesn't help. My Jack First catalog also shows 2 different part numbers for the frame studs. However, you can call them at 605-343-9544 and ask if they have any S&W Model 39 part number 060270000, frame stud, page 711 of Volume 1, Gun Parts Book 13 or p/n 6027, page 713 of the same Volume/Book. I deal with them a lot and have never been disappointed in their service.
