Offered in hte Senate SB 112
One I think we should oppose:
Regular Session 2017-2018
Senate Bill 112
Short Title: An Act amending Title 18 (Crimes and Offenses) of the Pennsylvania Consolidated Statutes, in firearms and other dangerous articles, further providing for definitions, for persons not to possess, use, manufacture, control, sell or transfer firearms, for sale or transfer of firearms and for Pennsylvania State Police.
Prime Sponsor: Senator SABATINA
Last Action: Referred to JUDICIARY, Jan. 13, 2017 [Senate]
This bill proposes adding one's inclusion on the Terrorist Watchlist and No-Fly List as a bar to firearms possession. I oppose this because it does so WITHOUT recommending or acknowledging a method for removal from those list IF placed there by mistake and does not acknowledge that there is NO DUE PROCESS for an individual accused.

Anyone who thinks it's a right to keep and bear arms can't be in favor of this. It's either a right in which it cannot be taken away without due process or it's not.
Which is why a Democrat is the one who sponsored this I suspect, I.E. most Democrats don't think it's an individual right.Last edited by ATBackpackin; January 14th, 2017 at 02:55 PM.
