Anybody else have elbow pain
I like to shoot my revolver. In 8 months I've put about 1300 rounds through it. I usually shoot between 20 and 50 magnum rounds at a time, maybe 1.5 times a week. I'm a right handed shooter and use a two handed grip, no gloves though. I've developed a dull ache to sharp pain in my right elbow which seems to be related to the angle of the elbow and the load on the hand. Could this be from shooting? Anybody else have any experience with this? My revolver is a S&W 500.

I have tennis elbow in both arms. Pain and clicking, numb fingers 24/7.

Tendonitis. Get one of those bands that are used just below the elbow joint.

I used to get it. Then I figured out it was happening when I shot a great group and patted myself on the back.

Re: Anybody else have elbow pain
Classic Tennis Elbow. You've over worked the muscles that control your fingers/grip and in turn damaged/inflamed the tendons that connect the muscles to the elbow. It's a bitch! All you can do is take anti-inflammatory/pain medication and try not to continually aggravate it, which is hard to do. It takes a very long time ( a year or so) for the tendons to recover due to the low blood flow in tendons. I'm on the fence to the effectiveness of the "brace or strap" that wraps around your forearm. Good luck!
I've had it for a little over a year now. I stopped playing tennis to help it heal.
