Default PSP qualifications, Sig vs Glock?

Just curious, anyone know if PSP qualification scores improved or got worse going from striker fired Glocks to sa/da Sigs?

I don't know whether or not the scores improved, but I know my buddy was super pissed after running the academy with a Glock, and then being given a Sig upon graduation. He hates the 227 with a passion.

A properly trained and experienced shooter should be easily able to shoot well with any quality platform. Especially since he is more likely than not, a gun person overall, thats surprising to hear. The 227 is a very well executed piece and capable of shooting better than most are able. I'd wager for even non combat shooting, think competition, it is more accurate than the Glock with both having Stock barrels.

Local Troop C and D troopers I know personally generally say their scores have improved with the P227.

The few troopers who are regular handgun shooters say that their scores are a wash between the P227 and the Glock predecessor.

I was curious. I heard of stories of qualification scores going up when revolvers were traded in for Glocks. I didn't know if reverting back to sa/da triggers would affect that.

Having shot both, I shoot the Sig better. Now if my buddy would trade or sell me his I'll be happy.

Scores went up even more lately since the course was changed.

Really wish they would have picked the HK45 though.

Not much change, they just updated the targets.

I hear scores have never been higher.
