Question LONG RANGE MARKSMAN COURSE INTEREST??

    Hi All,
I just wanted to see if there is an interest for a long range marksman course here in the SE PA region? Here is the general outline:

2 day course priced at $285
This long range class is specifically designed to elevate your confidence and performance while taking shots at ranges from 200 to 1000 yards.

Utilizing a combination of lecture and practical drills and exercises, this course will cover:
    Fundamentals and Body Mechanics
    Zero and Grouping Exercises
    External Ballistics
    Wind Calls
    Spotter Training
Muzzle Velocity testing and DOPE Cards for your individual firearm
AND MORE exercises to make you a better shooter

    EQUIPMENT REQUIREMENTS:
    200 Rounds of Ammunition
Rifle & Scope (nothing larger than .338 mag)
Proper range attire (Weather in Arkansas changes every 20 minutes)
Lunch and snacks for sustainment during training
    Hydration
    Eye Protection
    Hearing Protection

    RECOMMENDED EQUIPMENT (BUT NOT REQUIRED)
    Sand Sock
    Spotting Scope
    Kestrel or Ballistic Solver
    Range Finder
    Shooting Sticks

I would certainly welcome any feedback that you have in this regard.

Where did you steal this writeup from? Who cares if the weather in Arkansas changes every 20 minutes?

Tell Mark I'd be down, he's going to get a bunch of $ from the Mrs and I.
Planning on doing the carbine, level 2 pistol and hopefully the knife class.

Sorry about the Arkansas part. I copied and pasted it from their class listing on Event Brite.

Dude, i am doing all 3 as well. I don't think Scott and the other Tom will be able to make it to the Carbine course in April though.

I just wanted to know if there would be some interest in a course like this. I like training with Mark and his team.

There has been talk of using a location (maybe not necessarily in SEPA) that CAN accommodate said yardages, however, if there is a lack of genuine interest, then this is moot.

I would be interested if I were younger. I hear of long range ranges out around Lancaster? That's only 1-1/2 hours away from ESEPA. (Extreme Southeast PA).

Sand sock? I thought sand was replaced with kitty litter many years ago. But then, looking at the Clintons, I can see where Arkansas would still be in the sand mode.

Apparently there is one in Lewisville. Also, Ft Indiantown Gap was offered up as an alternative, but Mark would have to get prior authorization to use the range at a military base.

Nice jab with the sand sock.
