I'd be more of a Colt wheelgun fan if they'd fix the ass backwards cylinder latch.

Resurrecting this thread because I just bought the Colt Cobra,at $724.99, higher than MSRP. I hope Colt stays in business long enough to produce a few more modern, not necessarily better, takes on classics. Sure I would like that sleek mirrored finish of my blue and nickle Detective Specials on the Cobra but not at a $1500 custom job pricetag on Gunbroker. Does anyone know how difficult these are to find in stores? The store said it was the only one they got and another gun shop with a decent selection said they have not gotten one yet. I'd like to get a second one.

For any .41 Magnum fans, Charter Arms is coming out with a 2" snubby 5 shooter version of the Bulldog. While not nearly refined as a Smith and sub par to Ruger. They do come in at a price point of well under $400. I have handled them (the 44 bulldog) they are a bit clunky in the action, but this was years ago , perhaps there better now ?. I will be getting one to see how they run, also chambering for 45ACP and 45 Colt will be available. Nothing on there web site as of now, but where covered at the Shot Show for a January release

Just called my LGS for the Ruger Wheelgun in 10mm. Its on order. Screw paying insane money for a 6" Smith 610

I'd get one. Even if it was .41 Special.

To answer a few people on here....F&S in Altoona has a Colt Cobra and 2 different Kimber revolvers. The colt looks ok, waiting to see what a blued one looks like before i even bother to see if they are as smooth as the older ones. The Kimbers do nothing for me, they look kinda cluttered actually. Campbells in Duncansville pa has a factory Demo of the super redhawk in 10mm....great price....but for me ( a 10mm fan) this is simply too much gun for the round. Super Redhawks are huge. Not sure why they didnt just make it in a 4 in Redhawk frame....but whatever.
