That's what they claimed when I called last week. I explained that they could be more efficient if they use the fact that I have a rolling 30 day FBI background check.

Yup, this is what convinces me that the process, in and of itself is meant to be an infringement. There's no reason these shouldn't be turned around in the time it takes USPS to deliver. I believe that on top of the infringement that a taxed right already is, they purposely drag it out to make it as painful as possible.

Just jumped in again. Ordered a sig srd338ti for my 338 Lapua. Paperwork is done and just waiting to see the check get cashed. I can suppress everything now. Maybe a salvo or a hybrid will be my next one

Today she said that the FBI is running a backlog and things are extending out to 9 months now.
