Very nice build, I see nothing but good with that package. I'm in the creedmoor process also. Thanks for sharing your build. Keep us posted.

Your gun is the clone / cousin of one I'm having built right now. It should be done in the next week or so. Same action but mine will be a 28" Kreiger with a break in 260 Remington (since I already have one and reload for it). I have the same contour barrel with a matte stainless finish and the same exact stock! Also have a vortex 6-24 Vortex PST in hand waiting for the gun.

They will look almost identical. I can't wait to shoot it. Wish you the best with yours. Let us know how it shoots once you have a chance.

I apologize if this is the wrong place but I have a Remington 700 XHR currently with a Leopold vx1 3-9....the scope rings are mounted individually and not on a "plate". I have a 6-24 PST I want to put on it so I can dial elevation etc and see further etc. I need the 30mm rings still and am trying to decide on the Mount.
I shoot a lot of deer at 300 yards and would like to reach out longer. I am worried about the synthetic stock and all that could make it less accurate than a good 1000 yard gun. (I have never shot that far).
    It's in 7mm.
I like how not having the plate leaves it more open between the action and the scope. I'm thinking of doing a 20 moa plate but was wondering if any of you guys had an opinion of best mounting option for the PST on the 700. Plate? Individual rings like it currently is? I know it could be preference. Brands? Thanks so much in advance

I use a Night Force 20moa 1 piece steel base with TPS rings.
