Theft from Old Bedford Village museum
Sorry to be a Grinch this morning, but this needs to be known in our Pennsylvania gun community:
http://www.guns.com/2016/12/20/livin...stolen-photos/
I've done many events at the museum. It is a shame that somebody wanted to take advantage of their openness and steal the entire display of original examples. Knowing how shoestring the working budget of Old Bedford Village is, I know they will not be able to replace it should it not turn up. Please keep your eyes open for anyone suddenly having multiple original long rifles for sale and call the Pa State Police.
(Moderators- I ran a search in case somebody has already posted this information, but please merge/delete threads if somebody has already reported this.)Last edited by Ecclectic Collector; December 25th, 2016 at 09:23 AM. Reason: added to

That sucks! I hope they get those irreplaceable pieces of history back.
On another note, I couldn't help but eye up all the security measures the Springfield Armory historic site had when I was there.

Is no one else concerned about those assault rifles being out on the street?
Won't someone think of the children?Rules are written in the stone,
