Re: Sig Sauer MCX Recall.
Right, how? Other than reassembling his rifle incorrectly, what did he do/say that was right? I might have to rewatch the video.

Re: Sig Sauer MCX Recall.
Just read this at arfcom:
"Called Sig this afternoon… Apparently the aftermarket trigger issue was not handled correctly at first. The guy I talked to said they were told around 10 AM this morning that they actually won't have the MCX specific Geissele triggers in for 8 to 10 weeks. If you have an aftermarket trigger, they will ship you the carriage assembly replacement box now and you can move forward with that portion of the replacement but still hang onto your rifle. The rifle likely will not function with the new carriage assembly and aftermarket trigger, so you will have a paperweight for a couple of months, unless you reinstall the factory trigger. Supposedly when they get the new triggers in they will contact owners to ship the complete rifles to them at that time. He said the people who have already shipped rifles to them or are in the process of doing so will be recontacted, and given the option to still ship it now and have them sit on it, or ship it later when they get the new triggers actually in stock. He also said that when you register the rifle it will automatically trigger the carriage assembly replacement box being shipped to you. There is no specific other function you need to do to make that happen."
I'm suddenly not so happy about this mess.Life has a melody. Not great, not terrible.

Re: Sig Sauer MCX Recall.
Thanks JustinHEMI, I spoke with a rep around 2pm today and he pretty much said the same thing. Took my info down and said to call back in about 2 weeks to make arrangements for my rifle. He said they are in talks with Geissele and others about trigger replacements and are testing them starting next week. He said February is the target date for upgrades.

I received my box yesterday. Via USPS.......no wonder it took so long. CS Rep told me is was coming via FedEx. Sending Assembly out today..........hope it does not take long to get replacement.
