    Remember guys its limited to a 5 shot mag , so how u gonna get used to using a tiny mag?

    For comparison. 300 BO, 30 Rem AR and 7.62x39.

    The 30 REM AR will launch a 125 grain bullet at around 2,800 fps and a 159 grain bullet at about 2,600 fps. A near duplicate of the .300 Savage.

    I probably would still use pops old 700 30-06. Or my 7mm rem mag.

    Not going out to buy a new semi for hunting

    Although I would like a browning BAR.

    No new Upper for my ar. Just doesn't fit my hunting style.

    Maybe on the last day when we're doing drives I break out an Ar 10 lol..

    Game Commission has mentioned that they are leaning to limiting it to a 5 shot magazine for semi auto rifles et al. Have to wait and see what the fuds decide in January. I have little hope that it will apply to deer hunting, and other big game like bear or elk.
