Forum thread link setting
This is fairly minor but if it can be changed it would probably be an easy upgrade.
When you enter a forum and look at a thread, let's say it has 10 pages based on your settings, it lists links to the thread for Pages 1, 2, 3, and 10. Why the heck would I want to jump to Page 3? If it's the first time I look at the thread, I want to see Page 1 to see what it is about. If I saw it in the morning or while following at work I probably want to see a page or two prior to the last post. It should have links to Pages 1, 8, 9, and 10 if anything. I think some forums are set to link a few pages at the beginning, one or more in the middle, and a few at the end. So I was wondering if there was a setting in this software.

Re: Forum thread link setting
Or perhaps, as some fora have, a "go to last read post" button.

Just have the people chained in your basement read them to you using a Bluetooth mic linked to your Bluetooth headset...

Re: Forum thread link setting
Vb does not support the function you are suggesting. A custom hook could be written but that creates another set of problems every time any updates are done as it would have to be re-installed.
Its a shame as VB was once the premiere choice for running forums.Jim @ kitchenknifefora.com
