Re: MWAG in walmart
It seems hypocritical to me.
It's awfully easy to find lots of "____ business put up no guns signs" and then tons of "well, I won't go there any more" responses right on this here board. But we somehow accept it at gun shows? The very folks that oughtta, IMHO, be most supportive of 2A rights?DGAF

Re: MWAG in walmart
Comes to the situational awareness and familiarity with people behind the counter. I can quickly scan customers near the counter in a store (like hey, I want to try that holster scenario) and act accordingly if their actions are less than safe (I don't go to Clayton's for that reason and they don't even want to see me there, because I dared to point out their staff ignorance towards safety). No one has the capability to scan and evaluate potential unintentional threat by ignorant customers in the gun show environment. So I kind of appreciate the attempt to ensure the guns, that might be handled there are unloaded.

Guns pointed at my head or chest at Walmart: Zero
Guns pointed at my head or chest at gun shows: About 1,000*
*that I know of.
You get an idiot at a range once in a while but at least a range has a line, rules, and possibly ROs. Gun shows make people's brains leak out their ears.
