    Default nonresident new hampshire permit

Is the nonresident new hampshire carry permit still valid in pennsylvania? I know the old attorney general cancelled several agreements of the nonresident permits from other states.
    ...and they have a plan...

Thanks. I wasn't sure if the recent new hampshire decision to no longer need a home state permit first, made a diference. That decision happened after the old attorney general cancelled the other nonresident agreements.

New Jersey residents can carry with a NH non-resident in PA. Utah and Florida non-residents were knocked out by Kane.

The important part (to me) of my response is that - courtesy of Kane and the courts - PA residents must now have a PA LTCF to be covered. A PA resident with only a non-res permit has no more carry privilege (note I didn't say "right") in PA than one with no permit(s) at all.

If you're trying to get NH non-res for some other coverage, then I don't have your answer...

I understand your point. I may be mistaken, but i thought that the pa ltcf became the only option for pa resident carry due to the cancellation/adjustment of state reciprocity agreements done by the former attorney general, not by a court ruling. If the cancellations have the same affect as a court ruling, than i apologize in advance. I thought that the agreements were just changed by the ag, as theoretically a new ag could technically readjust them. Yes, i was originally asking to weigh options for possibly moving out of state, but either handgunlaw.us or usacarry showed that the new hampshire permit was still valid, although i may have misread the site.

Kane did damage with reciprocity with some states. It hurt out of staters more than residents. The McKowen decision is the court decision that affected PA residents carrying on nonresident permits. If you search that on here you can read quite a bit about it.

Here's a summary of the McKowen case: https://blog.princelaw.com/2013/10/2...own-aftermath/

Here's the PA reciprocity agreement with N.H.: https://www.attorneygeneral.gov/uplo..._Agreement.pdf
