Question Been confused for a while

I've seen a lot of law inforcement people carry Glocks, but CZ says more people carry their CZ 75 B than any other. What is closer to the truth?

LE are government and the government purchases from the lowest bidder... not always the best product, but certainly the cheapest.

Whew. I thought from the title this was going to be a gender identity thread. I read the same thing actually posted here about it. Probably at least a year or two ago. Never got any definite answer

I'm quite sure it costs more to produce a CZ75 than a Glockenspiel.

    The CZ is Europe's 1911.

No, unlike Hi-Points, Glocks can be used by LEOs to chock the tires of their patrol cars.

Ideally, specs are written up and manufacturers bid. Lowest bid get the contract. Sometimes individual departments jump on a county bid or a state bid...such as vehicles. If a particular company happens to be the only one making or capable of making a product to a particular spec, it becomes a sole-source contract and bidding is set aside. Thus, it can be seen why police are not carrying Hi-Points
