There are plenty of 1911's that can outshot stock revolvers........you never shot a Les Baer auto that locks up tighter than a bank vault. Bullseye is owned by the 1911 in many parts.

6BR owns benchrest.....that's old school. Many use flat based bullets for accuracy, because BC doesn't always mean much at the 100yrd marker.

Les Baer makes nice AR's.......but Clark will GUARANTEE .5 moa from a $800 upper. 98% of AR accuracy is the barrel quality and a decent float tube. End of story.

    And.....finally....isn't Eugene Stoner...deceased?

Yeah, I'm glad somebody else caught that. Dead in '97.

Or did he mean "Stoner", his college roomate with the drug problem?

You'd think someone with a "degree" in AR-15s he would have come up with something better than "the peice that hits the firing pin".

So Steveo, where you a seal for 4 year or 7 years? I'm confused.

Steveo, not everyone on the internet is a badass, but you sure are. We are all really impressed with your story.

But hey, I'm just jealous because not only is the guy an ex Navy seal of 7 years (or 4 years), but he's also an former marine sniper of 2 years, a SWAT officer, he gets to shoot 3,000 rounds a day, he holds all kinds of BR shooting records, has a 500 yard underground shooting tunnel that he only paid $18,000, (but a less baur AR at $4300 is on the pricey side), his wife is a shooting competitor, he's a pro fighter, he can speak to the dead, AND he still has time to waste on an internet forum.

    Damn.

At only $900.00 per rifle, (less any optics, and or accessories), Thats $97,200.00

    $900 X 108 = $97,200.00

3,300 rounds per day = 1,204,500 (one million, two hundred four thousand, five hundred), rounds per year.

    3,300 X 365 = 1,204,500

    3,300 rounds, (.223 / 5.56MM) @ $6.50 @ box of 20 = $1,072.50 PER DAY

    3,300 divided by 20 = 165 boxes X $6.50 @ box = $1,072.50 Ammo cost per day.

    $1,072.50 X 365 (days per year) = $391,462.50 Ammo cost per year

    Shooting 8 hours per day = 412 rounds per hour 8 hours a day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year.

    Total Bull$h!t !!!!!!!!! Bill T.

Billt, cut the guy some slack. You gotta figure there's a "buy 20 AR's, get one free" deal in there somewhere. And come on, there's gotta be a little something off on the ammo, right? Buy a pallet, get a case free.
