    Default Heier defense pistols

    https://heizerdefense.com/

Has anyone heard of these? I ran across a used PAR on Armslist and decided to look them up. Interesting concept but at those velocities I think it defeats the purpose of such a thing. What would the ballistics be of an average .223 bullet traveling at 1400 fps? Maybe I am missing something.

Does anyone have actual experience with one? Shot a friend's or rented at a range?
    Some people just plain suck.

The muzzle blast and fireball is supposed to disable both parties......thus ending the conflict!

Even more useless than those Double Tap pistols or 45-70 derringers. With the porting and all the unburned powder from the .223 the fireball will be huge.

That is my take on them as well. Just a waste of a powerful cartridge. I do see a place for something like the .410/.45 colt singles shot pistols but not the .223 or 7.62 by 39.
The .45 acp pistol seems interesting.
