Default G-Smithing and Maintenance Kits and Work Areas

    Hey all,
I'm planning on building a work area in the basement for small gunsmith and gear mod projects. My heads all over the place, but, I was finally able to convince the wifey...so it's a go.

So, please post descriptions or even better pics of your work areas or kits. Anything from small field kits to shoe box sized cleaning kits, to a full blown shop would be helpful. We can all probably learn better or different ways of storing these items, as well as add to our wishlists.

    Lil' help please, POOFA.

My CDO, (Alphabetical order for OCD) is getting the best of me.

    NO SHAG!

Short carpet of a light color. So when that mico spring goes sprong or the roll pin rolls off the table you can find it. With sight/magnets or feel. The carpet keeps it from going too far.

Tell that to my buffer tube retainer spring. Sunuvabitch is still MIA. It's amazing how much time you spend looking for a $0.50 spring though...

Your gun case doesn't have any guns in it.

Is a Bridgeport a CNC machine?

    How do you know?

    Speaking of...
See the skirting around the edge of the table? Would be pretty simple to make a mount to stash a firearm up under the table where nobody would ever see.
