Default Home invasion shooting changed to domestic dispute?

Ch.6 changed the story from a home invasion earlier to a domestic dispute. Still , there's a big fail at the end of the article; http://6abc.com/news/man-shot-dead-i...ster-/1649588/

    "CHESTER, Pa. (WPVI) --
A homeowner shot and killed a man in an apparent domestic dispute in Chester, Delaware County.

It happened around 1 p.m. on the 800 block of Upland Street.

Investigators say a man stormed the home at gunpoint, not realizing the homeowner was armed.

The homeowner opened fire, hitting the man once, killing him.

There were no injuries reported to anyone else inside the home.

No word yet on whether that homeowner was licensed to carry, or whether any charges will be filed.''

Since when does a homeowner need a license to carry in their own home?

I wonder if they'll ask if the gun was registered too?

Antis are 'gonna anti. We have lost the thread of actual journalism, now, in all forms of "news". "News" used to mean the delivery of a factual story presented with journalistic integrity... at least when I was in school.

Journalism would view this as, at minimum, an absolutely inaccurate representation of the facts, and with a simple notice from any viewer would have retracted or re-reported, at least once, later... and at maximum, for exactly what it is... either a deliberate reflection of personal bias (legal PA firearms owners should be licensed), or, a deliberate lie to create/perpetuate bias in others (legal PA firearms owners are licensed, so if he was not, he was in the wrong no matter what).

Not having seen the report, I don't know whom to assign the bias, the reporter or a LEA source, but either way it is biased "news", not journalism.

Probably the reason why the news likes to bring up if the firearms used was registered or not.
