    Four hours is definitely not enough. The NRA Basic Pistol (the old one, before the new, on-line "blended learning" abomination came along) was a full day, and that did NOT cover anything about concealed carry or laws. It was just the bare essentials on how handguns work and how to shoot them safely.

    Much of what you seem to be asking about is probably the NRA "Personal Protection Outside the Home" class, and that's a two-day class IIRC.

    I just heard back from Frank.
    He's still certified and still doing training, one-on-one.
    He's just off route 8, much closer to Butler than Slippery Rock.
