Is there any indication that the 2017 bill has less support than the previous bills which were slam dunks (at least in the House)? After all the 2017 version is a much more aggressive version that would cover those in the iron curtain states.

For those of us who were out of town....is there a synopsis of what transpired during the meeting with Larry Pratt? What was the response? Any changes we should be aware of? What is the plan going forward? Any insight would be appreciated.

Yes it was a great meeting. We heard from Larry, but also from an NRA board member. Both NRA & GOA support HR 38. Then we (PA4SP a statewide org) launched a petition that when signed faxes your Congressman and both senators. There is more to the plan (we will follow up with face-to-face meetings to secure 'yes' votes) but see this thread for the petition:
