I'm sure the many Lancaster members of the Almighty Latin Kings and Queens Nation will welcome the refugees with open arms. Heh.

Lol. They seem really at peace with the universe. Probably just waiting for a big enough crowd at the coffee kiosk to detonate.

It wouldn't surprise me with that bow tied moron mayor of Lancaster pushing to bring them in and all the bleeding heart ministry outfits we have in the area that love to bring in people from third world dung heaps.
The comments in that thread were fascinating. I always find it interesting when others argue over the appropriate way to spend other people's money.
Let's not forget there are still species of tropical penguins living in the Galapagos.

I always figured if more people had to sit down, fill out the slip, write the check and mail their taxes in every month or quarter there would be a quite a few people thinking differently. So many people get the taxes auto deducted from their check and only pay attention to what the net pay is. In other words there is a disconnect. Though some people apparently just have it easier in this country than they should.

There are at least a few good people who have come in. My church has several people who have come from African and southeast Asian places who are genuinely good people seeking a better life and wanting to assimilate here. They attend ESL classes and are upstanding citizens. I can't say as to what percentage of the total incoming population is similar to them, but I can say that I know first hand that there are some who I vastly prefer versus some NY, NJ, and Philly transplants.

Thanks for your first hand reporting on the real story. And if these folks possess any carpenter skill and can build barns then that's a bonus.
