Sights for NRA .22lr Silhouette Competition
This summer i want to get back into Silhouette Competition. I want to splurge on some better sights for my rifle. I'm looking at a Williams foolproof tk rear sight and Williams globe front. Is this a good move, why/why not. Pictures of globe fronts would be appreciated.

Re: Sights for NRA .22lr Silhouette Competition
What form of 22 Silhouette are you looking at?
If levergun on half size targets, you will be well served with the Williams rear sight you mentioned. Front sights can be a globe but the front sight can not be an aperture. Either a post or bead is require. Fiber optic is allowed. Lyman 17A is very popular for a replacement front sight. Also, Marble's tang sights are seen a good bit too.
Should you be interested in Smallbore Rifle competition on 1/5 size targets you will very likely want a target scope. The Lord Bless You
