New law on Open Carry???
I just stopped in my local Smoker Friendly to pick up a few cigars for the weekend and both of the employees informed that after Dec 16, 2016 it will be against Pa law to open carry. After stating that that sounded like a load of BS the employee behind the counter pulled out an email from their corporate office stating as much. I was not allowed to have a copy of said email and was then told that you were required to have a CONCEALED CARRY PERMIT and that you must conceal by law..
AT this point I asked the employee to show anything that said concealed carry on it as PA has a LTCF and PA is an open carry state, he replied that he would be happy to and pulled out his LTCF and I asked him to show me where it said concealed. The look on his face was priceless. He then stated that he knew for a fact that if you have a firearm in your car and don't have your CCW that you would be in " a lot of trouble" because you would be concealing." I corrected him and told him that it is not concealing but transporting but that he was correct in needing a LTCF to do so.
At this point he declared that he was not doing this and walked away from the counter. Another ignorant poorly informed firearm owner. there was a second discussion going on with the other employee at the same time but I will save that for later, it is time for PIZZA!!

The best thing you can now do is to not patronize that smoke shop for two reasons.
1. The obviously do not support or like your right to open carry.
2. Tobacco is bad for your health and increases mouth cancer rates.

1. They're babbling idiots who were just repeating, or misinterpreting, what they were told.
2. Lots of things are bad for your health. I spent 21 years in the Active Army - you'd be amazed at what's out there waiting to kill you one way or another, and the hazards of smoking don't even make the Top Ten list.
