Thumbs up Re: Bucks County Court House LTCF Renewal

[QUOTE=51158;3473583]you went to Doylestown? they don't check weapons.. I've been there as resent as September..I'm confused

I do agree will your assessment though, they do appear to go with the premise that " we want your help when it's needed" you see, the responsibility is reciprocal....

But really "check weapon" IIRC there's actually a sign on the door[/QUOTE

********Just to clarify my original post. This was at the new courthouse back in November.

I walked up to the security area where you walk though the metal detector and told them I had a firearm to check. They said no problem, the security staff there led me to lock boxes and the deputies checked my LTCF and DL. I locked it up and went through and did my business. Finished my renewal and picked up my firearm and out the door.

I hope this clears up your question.

NP. I have mine on my hip at all times (usually) and not comfortable leaving a firearm in my car. Minus to work.....that's in the People's Republic of Newjerseystan. Crossing my finger for National Reciprocity!!

I have an Out of State CC for PA. but i do not like that I have to come all the way to PA to Renew it. this was change some time in 2008 I think,? Why can they still be renewed by Mail instead of coming to PA other states do not require to come in person to Renew etc

The LTCF has both your photo and your signature captured at the time of issue and printed on the card. Yes, technology exists to do that remotely, but...

I went to Doylestown Tuesday for a renewal - took about 20 minutes, got there at 8, one guy ahead of me and I was on my way. Everyone super-helpful.
