Re: Open carrying AR-15 on Halloween ,
Rules are written in the stone,
Break the rules and you get no bones,
all you get is ridicule, laughter,
and a trip to the house of pain.

Re: Open carrying AR-15 on Halloween ,
Halloween is a great excuse to open carry in a functional way. For instance, my go-to is an Umbrella soldier with a thigh-holstered Glock - but the intent is not to scare anyone, it's simply to look badass. Any time a weapon is being used specifically with the intent to scare people - even on Halloween - poor decisions have been made.
I hope he gets it plead down to something like DC (which he deserves), but honestly, I don't have any sympathy. He intended to cause a disturbance.Junior

Re: Open carrying AR-15 on Halloween ,
Obviously, the COPS that wrote the report did not know that.
Legalities aside, I'm on the fence on this one. Leaning towards OK on Halloween, but not quite decided.
You can do as you please, I'm giving my opinion - what I might do and/or what level of behavior I might tolerate when hanging out w/people (vs. telling them I'm taking off).
