Default My Budget AR Pistol Build

    Anderson lower ($34, Primary Arms)
    Anderson LPK ($54, Primary Arms)
PSA Pistol Buffer Tube Kit ($30, PSA)
    PSA BCG/CH ($89, PSA)
PSA 8.5" 5.56/.223 Barreled Upper Assembly ($259, PSA)
Primary Arms Micro Dot Red Dot MD-RBGII ($89, Primary Arms)

Still waiting for the upper to ship here. I also do plan some BUIS in the future just not right now. The wrap on the tube is going to change as well. Tired of the way it looks already and I haven't even fired the gun yet.

    Cool.
I see you have the Anderson LPK with stainless trigger hammer. I have one of those in a box. I just noticed the oddly shaped hammer on mine the other day.
I started Googling and see them referred to as "bobbed" or "speed hammers".

Seems like you have costs well under control.
Look forward to seeing the assembled project.

I was surprised to see the stainless trigger and hammer to be honest. Wasn't expecting it. I think it adds a little flare to an otherwise all black pistol. I'll have to look into the LPK thing you spoke of. I assume it doesn't make a difference or does it?

I was trying to make this a sub $500 pistol but I would of had to forego the Red Dot and that RD is something I really wanted for this project.

Pretty sure mounting a kitchen knife makes it an AOW.

Would make a nice kitchen knife but it's a nice fixed blade survival knife for zombie skull penetration. LMAO

Nice build but sorry it looks like an umbrella.

I think you did pretty well regarding the price.

I tried to split the difference when I chose the parts for my build and bought a few select, higher priced parts, but waited until I could catch them for a better than average price.
It gets really hard to keep the price down once you start choosing parts that are "other than standard".
