    Default Mag Holder or Pocket

How do you guys prefer carrying an extra mag. Throw it right in your pocket and go, or do you use a mag holder?

Double mag @ the 8 o'clock position. Don't care for too much stuff in my pockets.

I use magazine pouches because of easier access, they keep the magazines in one place and the magazines don't collect pocket lint. I have carried a four inch blade folding knife in my back pocket and found it hard to access on account of it shifting.

Holder. If ever you need an extra magazine then the heat is on high and fiddling around in your pocket will get you killed. But I don't carry the extras mag although I do have a few holders, might need them if we keep heading down this highway we call liberalism. If I can't prevail with 17 rounds I fucked up before the fight began.

Comp Tac single mag pouch on off-side for both myself and my wife.

Always in a mag pouch of some kind. Keep in mind that having exposed ammo in your pocket, or handling the magazine with exposed rounds, could elevate the risk of lead exposure. Even FMJ could have lead residue. Lead is a neurotoxin. A microscopic amount will poison a child.

I keep mags, and ammo, covered in pouches. I refrain from handling ammo when not needed, and when I do, I wash hands with a lead removing soup.

I also simply kept a spare mag in a b.o.b. or my lunch box. always nearby. someone mentioned to me once about the possibility of the mag dropping out or a jam. The last month I've been keeping it in my above post's position.
Well, sure enough, after carrying daily nearly 5 years. I did my routine check, make sure everything is still seated correctly when getting out of car, only to notice my mag had unseated from the firearm.
My fat must've pressed the mag release...or something.
I ate a doughnut to quell my sadness and another to sate the disgust of consuming the first but, still, the scenario once mentioned in passing came to mind and i said to myself "good thing I've got the spare on my left, tucked under a roll"
