Can't they just send a new top end? Would be quicker.

Yes it would be and easy to replace. Ten point rep just said they do warranty work. Alluded that most people are not technically competent to do this type of work correctly.
There was also a recall for the trigger assembly. ( the quick check they had me do indicated mine was not an affected bow but they will replace that as well).

I may very well go to the shop and buy a backup bow. I 've had backup rifles for years for a 2 week season. I think having a backup bow for how much longer I use it isn't a bad idea.
I gifted my Golden Eagle Evolution to my buddy's kid last year. That was my backup but I couldn't pull it back very well so figured if it could be used, it was perfect for him starting out.

Got it. I have the Warrior. It was top-rated. I saw no reports of what you are experiencing though when researching. I suppose xbows in this price range have their limitations on longevity...?!

This is what both guys at the archery shop told me. Cheaper bow, more plastic. lesser quality components.
Hard to accept that a $500 bow is on the downside of quality.

While I was at the shop today, I bought another TenPoint . A Wicked Ridge Stealth FX4

Quite a bit smaller, shorter limbs, carbon bolts.
I was thinking about returning it. at 40 yds, it was dead nuts on center of the bull. But at 50, it was an inch to the left.
Also, there was no line or dot to shoot out to 200. Just junk today.

Was trying to post a couple pics but photobucket is really slow today.

Yeah... Just garbage! How's a guy supposed to launch fury across the corn field?! You should throw that out. Let me know when trash night is though...

Is it quieter also? Quiver is in line with rail also? I like that.

Ok, I got my bow back from Ten Point.
I told the shop I wanted the cables and string replaced whether Ten Point would do it or not. Evidently they only replaced the limbs. The trigger was not within the serial numbers recalled.

So, it did cost me Just under $90 to recable and string it.

$29 for the string and $49 for the cable.

    Size difference.
