You've definitely seen it first hand since you live in PRNJ.

Great job and kudos to all of you! Welcome to the forum!

First off, welcome to PAFOA. Stick around, stay active.

Great job with the OC rally. Show the sheep that gun owners are not all old rednecks, Fudds and anti-gov lunatics. Thanks for sharing the photos. It looks like it was a well planned and peaceful event.

Had I known and still lived in Philly, I would have joined your rally.

Great Job, BTW, love the WeChat snaps. I'm helping the Chinese Community here in Central PA as well, most seem very receptive, but not ready to buy their own. One of the first things I do before even letting them do anything is hand them a copy of the four rules in both English and Mandarin, makes them more comfortable. Of course they ALL want pictures holding mine before we head to the range. Glad to see you folks working hard in Philly, hopefully you can change some minds and attitudes. Good luck.

    Greetings,

First, great job on getting members of the Chinese community aware of their rights and on the path towards gun ownership, etc..

I heard that same interview with Mr Toure during the DNC. He was GREAT! Very articulate and definitely speaking to those law abiding citizens stuck in the worst, crime ridden parts of the city. BTW, the NRA political mag "First Freedom" just did a short feature on him and Black Guns Matter this month. Another group that should get our support.

The politicians and media are all about divide and concur and go out of their way to force walls of difference and animosity between us. We (all US gun owners) need to stick together and present a unified voice regardless of any other differences we may have. We have to put the "Fudds vs Tacticool" and all the other petty arguments behind us, leave the racism and divisiveness to the "Bloombergs" and embrace ALL those who value our 2A (and other) rights.

It's ironic that the "white guys from the 'burbs or out in the sticks" are the medias' national "poster boys" for the gun movement, when in fact the minority population is far more likely to be victims of violent crime where they live. United we stand, divided we hang.

    Regards, Jim

As a matter of fact, a while ago, NPR did an interview in Philly of Maj Toure of Black Guns Matter, who is an NRA certified instructor. One of our members was also there. Of course, the media report didn't mention anything about us. But it's OK. We are actually quite private.
