we are a gun club for local Chinese promoting firearm ownership and safety, this rally was for supporting law enforcement, fighting crime, refusing to be a victim, supporting 2nd Amendment.

Congrats on having an effective demonstration. The Lame Stream Media will have a hard time finding an angle of attack on you. So you highlight gun confiscation/restrictions in China?

While talking with many immigrants I have noticed that one of the 1st things that many do is buy a gun (as soon as they are legally allowed to). I have met many at the range from eastern Europe who still speak English with an accent. Long story short - they've seen quite a bit and want to do everything they can to make sure it doesn't happen (again) in their adopted country. I'm sure that immigrants from China are no different (and possibly even MORE passionate about it).

Statement by GPCGC at 10/15 Philadelphia Anti-Crime Rally

Greater Philadelphia Chinese Gun Club (GPCGC) is a locally based club of like-minded members dedicated to educating people to exercise our natural, civil and constitutionally protected right of self-defense, while enjoying shooting sports.
We noticed the recent crime wave among the communities, especially against law-abiding, hard-working Chinese-American restaurant workers. We also noticed that certain elements of the society advocated targeting law-abiding, hard-working Chinese-American as easy prey. We hold this rally to raise the awareness of this situation. Our goals are to ask for more sympathy of the plight of the crime victims, advocate more cooperation between communities and law enforcement, and educate the communities about the rights, laws and means of self-defense.
We understand that violent crimes affect victims of all people, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or political affiliation. We believe people of all communities must work together to fight the root cause of this scourge, instead of being swayed by divisiveness and politics. We urge greater communication, cooperation and co-effort to achieve the common goal of reducing and preventing crimes against all communities and law enforcement. We also want to show our resolve of fighting back against violent crimes and defending our families.
