not accusing, just stating you are obviously among many, of whom a few are precisely the reason for said signs.

how many people are shooed away from a store, thats not on a beach, because of the no shoes, no shirt signs?
i mean, some things people wear barely qualify as a shirt. or pants even. and don't get me started on damn flipflops.
but how many people go up to a store and "oh, damn, i don't have shoes today"

If I see them, I usually abide by them. IF I see them. My eyesight kinda sucks though.

OTOH, I always pay attention to "no shoes, no shirt, no service" signs: I immediately drop trou and walk in.

I don't. I have the LC9S on my hip IWB unless I'm going somewhere that my LTCF forbids. Theaters, malls, etc. If I see them, I ignore them. Is there any reason to maybe actually consider that a risk other than having someone making minimum wage ask you to leave ikea? What do you folks think?

I ignore them. The only two places I have seen them are in a credit union and a movie theater, two places I wouldn't want to be caught unarmed.
