Re: pa man makes big goof
Another victim-less crime.
Another life screwed by "gun control".
The same gun control that does NOTHING to prevent criminals from getting and using guns.
Way to go NJ.

Pa. man charged with weapons offense
By DAVID LEVINSKY
Burlington County Times
WESTAMPTON — A Pennsylvania man was injured in an accident Tues-day and then charged with unlawful possession of a loaded handgun, police said.
According to investigators, Gary Jones, 30, of Glenside, Pa., was the driver of a vehicle that collided with another car at the intersection of Springside and Valley Farm roads.
Following the 4:21 p.m. accident, officers located a 10mm handgun in the console of Jones' car, police said. The gun was loaded with hollow-point bullets, police said. Jones had a permit to carry the weapon in Pennsyl-vania, but New Jersey law does not permit him to bring the gun to New Jersey, police said.

Jones, who required medical treatment for head, neck and leg injuries, was charged with unlawful possession of a handgun and possession of penetrating bullets. He was released on undisclosed bail conditions, police said.
Motorists in the second vehicle — driver Dana Brown, 32, and passenger Mila Brown, 7, both of Willingboro — also were injured in the accident. Police did not specify if they were taken to a hospital and their conditions were not available.

Re: pa man makes big goof
what was basis to search his vehicle ? or did he give permission
to look inside and see something illegal is different than a vehicle search with out permission or with out due cause
as far as i remember comming from NJ $1000 each for hollow pts, how much does a 10mm glock (possibly that may be what it was) hold X $1000
there goes most of his life savings, lawyer and fines or just lawyer if the cops did something wrong, illegal search
we were sooooo glad to get out of NJ !!!!gun control dosen't work, career criminal control will !

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquillity of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!”

Re: pa man makes big goof
If it helps, he's probably not going to be "a gun owner" after this, if NJ provides for punishment in excess of 2 years for this offense.
I've driven into NJ with loaded handguns, by accident, by getting lost on 5th Street in Philadelphia and following the road onto the bridge. I seriously doubt that I'm the only one. There's really nothing you can do if you're not familiar with Philadelphia, by the time you realize that the northbound road is turning into an eastbound bridge, there's no way to turn around.
Too many people believe that they can wink at gun laws, the way they ignore the speed limit and following distances and littering laws. There are so many things that we're "not supposed to do" that they don't realize the shitstorm that will fall on their heads over victimless weapons offenses. They are life-altering tragedies.

Could the law be challenged on logic? IIRC the evil hollowpoints tend to penetrate less than say ... Ball.
So would KTW be a better choice by that logic?
