    Default Proof of Firearm Ownership

Do any of you guys keep the paperwork on you while carrying? In order to prove that it is indeed your firearm.

I keep no receipts of anything on me, and that includes the draws I'm wearing.

Not necessary. Keep those receipts along with other important documents in your gun safe. You do have a gun safe, don't you?

Proof of ownership? You see it? I'm carrying it? Well, there you have all the proof of ownership you need Officer. So unless you have some EVIDENCE to the contrary, how about you leave, or kiss my curvy white ass? Your pick, mmmkay?

I keep them in my safe, was just wondering if it would be a good idea to keep on me.just to make life easier, if I encounter a hot head 5-0.

The only place that makes sense is at home in a fire safe with your other important documents.

I doubt a "hothead" cop is going to give a shit about some paper flapping in the breeze.
If you are at the point of needing to prove ownership you have bigger problems than a receipt in hand will solve.
